New books for the Măcin town library
The town library of Măcin, Tulcea county, holds over 70,000 volumes and bears the name of a Romanian language teacher respected by generations in the community. It is one of the last functional town libraries in the county — yet in recent years it had no budget for new books.
We endowed the library with a series of titles on recent history, civic education and personal development — books the community can now borrow for free.
